The Jammu and Kashmir Police have detained Hakim Din from Bhandarah, Rajouri, who is suspected of providing logistical support to the terrorists involved in the incident, as per News18 sources.

The J&K police will hold a press conference today in Jammu. The investigation is still ongoing.
On June 9, nine people, including seven pilgrims from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi, were killed, and 41 were injured when terrorists opened fire on a bus carrying pilgrims from the Shiv Khori temple to the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. The 53-seater bus veered off the road due to the indiscriminate firing and fell into a gorge near Teryath village in Poni.
Last week, the J&K police had released a sketch of a terrorist involved in the attack and announced a Rs 20 lakh reward for information about him. The police said the sketch of the terrorist was prepared based on descriptions given by eyewitnesses.
On Monday, the case was transferred from the police to the National Investigation Agency (NIA) on the directions of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The decision came a day after Union Home Minister Amit Shah reviewed the security situation in Jammu and Kashmir and preparations for the annual Amarnath Yatra in two back-to-back meetings.
