The Prime Minister reached Ayodhya earlier in the day to take part in the auspicious ceremony.

Carved in black stone with a golden bow and arrow in hand, the Ram Lalla idol was unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the Pran Pratishtha rituals. After performing the puja, PM Modi was also seen applying kajal to Ram Lalla.

PM Modi led the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Lalla in the newly-built Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya. PM Modi had reached Ayodhya earlier in the day to take part in the auspicious ceremony.

“The divine moment of Pran Prathishta of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham is an emotional moment for everyone. It is my good fortune to be part of this unique programme. Jai Siyaram,” PM Modi said in a tweet.

RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat, Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, and State Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are present at the ceremony held at the sanctum sanctorum of the temple.

With over 8,000 guests in attendance, the grand temple ceremony has drawn representatives from all major spiritual and religious sects across the country for the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony.

People from diverse backgrounds, including representatives of various tribal communities, are participating. The Prime Minister is scheduled to address this distinguished gathering on the momentous occasion.

The majestic Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir is crafted in the traditional Nagara style, boasting dimensions of 380 feet in length (east-west), 250 feet in width, and a towering height of 161 feet. It stands supported by a remarkable ensemble of 392 pillars and features 44 doors. Adorned with intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, gods, and goddesses, the pillars and walls of the temple showcase exquisite craftsmanship.

In the primary sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, the idol of Shri Ramlalla, representing the childhood form of Bhagwan Shri Ram, has been reverently placed. Accessible through the eastern side, the main entrance can be reached by ascending 32 stairs through the Singh Dwar. The Mandir encompasses five halls, including Nritya Mandap, Rang Mandap, Sabha Mandap, Prathana Mandap, and Kirtan Mandap.

Adjacent to the Mandir, a historic well known as Sita koop, dating back to ancient times, is situated. In the southwestern part of the Mandir complex, at Kuber Tila, the ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv has been meticulously restored, featuring the installation of a statue of Jatayu.
