While investigating into the Sunday's incident of delivery of a stillborn baby by one Joharan Bibi at the hospital gate, the committee would also take into consideration the death of K Satyabhama (65) due to alleged negligence on part of the doctor on duty. The Collector said, preliminary inquiry had revealed that Joharan child had died in the womb several days earlier. It has been reported by the doctor that she had no records of her pregnancy and thus diagnostic tests were advised. She was also prescribed medicines and asked to wait till the attendant got them. She chose to go along and delivered in front of the main gate.
