A private helicopter carrying relief materials for the rain-affected people in Rudraprayag district on Friday crashed near Gaurikund leaving the pilot injured, police said.
The mishap occurred at a place in the Jungle Chatti area near Gaurikund, Inspector General of Police Ram Singh Meena told PTI.
The pilot was injured in the crash and has been brought to the Jollygrant Hospital here for treatment. The aircraft was also damaged, the IG added.
