Understanding of godWhen I start a painting, I tend to become a little edgy. After all, painting is about creating something new, and I cannot allow my nervousness to stand in the way. For me, the journey of creating my work is important. I am that artist who starts without any confidence but ends up sure of himself than ever before after the painting is over. So, this whole transition is god for me. It gives me the strength to create something new, and provides me with an opportunity to express my inner side to the world.Faith in miraclesI have a very strong faith in miracles. However, I haven't experienced any yet. I believe there's this power which governs us all the time, and am sure a miracle will happen soon in my life.   Spiritual practices and experiencesI offer prayers at home, regularly. It's like second to breathing. On important days, such as birthdays and festival days, I visit the temple to offer my prayers. Also, I make it a point to visit the temple every week. Favourite pilgrimage sitesI have been to the Mookambiga temple in Kollur, Karnataka. And like most people, I have been to Tiruvannamalai and Tirupati. I enjoyed every bit of my visits.(Vinoth is a city-based artist)
