Chiangmai: Former PGA Championship winner Y.E. Yang shot a 5-under 67 for a share of fourth place in the Chiangmai Classic after the third round on Saturday, six strokes behind leader Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand. The South Korean, who came from behind to beat Tiger Woods in the 2009 PGA Championship, eagled No. 14 and birdied two of his last three holes at Alpine Golf Resort.

Prayad (66) leads by five shots from compatriot Thongchai Jaidee (69) and Matthew Stieger of Australia (68). Yang is in a group of six.

Prayad says of his rivals that "if they cannot hit birdies, I think it will be my day."

Four-time major winner Ernie Els, the reigning British Open champion, shot a 66 to be eight strokes off the pace in equal 15th place.
