Power Production at KTPP hit

WARANGAL: Yet again, generation of power was disrupted at the Kakatiya Thermal Power Plant (KTPP) Wednesday evening.There was leakage in the walls of the turbine releasing steam and this affected the functioning of the plant. Identifying it, KTPP authorities stalled power production. Engineering officials are trying to set things right and begin power production. This is the second time that power generation has been disrupted due to a technical snag in the plant this year.Earlier, on Jan 16, there was a technical snag in the turbine which was rectified and power production was resumed on Jan 18.
