Uttarakhand Police on Friday registered two more cases against Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's 'Divya Yoga Mandir Trust' for allegedly breaching norms in two land purchases in Roorkee town of Haridwar.
Uttarakhand Police on Friday registered two more cases against Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's 'Divya Yoga Mandir Trust' for allegedly breaching norms in two land purchases in Roorkee town of Haridwar.
The Trust has been accused of violating the terms regarding the use of the land, officials said.
With this, the number of cases registered against the Trust in past one week in land-related matters has gone up to 83.
Earlier, a total of 81 cases were lodged by Haridwar district administration against Ramdev for alleged gross violation of land laws and evasion of stamp duty.
Recently, Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna had said that based on investigations, more cases could be registered against Ramdev's Trust.
