Family members of three arrested terror suspects were allowed by the police to meet them at an undisclosed location in the city on Wednesday evening, sources said.
On Tuesday, police officials did not allow anyone to meet the arrested suspects. However, Ata-ur- Rahman, brother of journalist and one of the arrested Muthi-ur-Rahman Siddiqui, managed to speak to Siddiqui over the phone on Tuesday.
“We could not meet them on Tuesday despite repeated attempts. I was allowed to speak to my brother over the phone. Siddiqui told me that he would come out clean,” Ata-ur- Rahman told Express.
A Mirza, father of suspects Shoaib Mirza and Aijaz Mirza, could not meet his sons.
“I have returned to as I could not meet them. But family members of the others (suspects) were allowed to meet them on Wednesday,” Mirza told Express from Hubli.
