Plea seeking probe adjourned

KOCHI: The Ernakulam Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Court on Saturday adjourned a petition seeking a directive to the Central Police to register a crime and investigate the complaint registered against the crew members of the Italian ship.The court adjourned the case to Tuesday for further hearing. The petitioner submitted that a criminal conspiracy was being hatched by the accused and a spokesperson of a political party at New Delhi to help the accused escape from the clutches of the laws held discussions with the police.The accused should be proceeded under the provisions of the IPC and Criminal Procedure Code as the killing took place in the Indian territorial waters, the petition said.
