The agitated parents want a new law to be set up for an autonomous regulator for school fees.
Hyderabad: Exorbitant school fees and its annual hikes have forced the parents in Hyderabad to raise voice against TRS government's failure in dealing with the issue.
Around 1,000 parents on Saturday took the streets in Hyderabad and demanded to halt on any fee hike for the current academic session.
They also want a new law to be set up for an autonomous regulator for school fees.
The agitated parents alleged that the state government has absolutely no control and regulation on private school fees and yearly fees hike.
The parents are planning to intensify their protests in the near future if the state government does not constitute an autonomous and independent regulatory committee.
