Mumbai: Operations at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) in Mumbai were hit on Saturday evening following a snag in radar.

"The air traffic control's radar is down since 1730 hours and flight departures are having issues," an airport spokesperson said.

Arrivals of flights which have taken off from other airports for the city are still on, she said, adding that arrivals and departures are taking place, but the operations have slowed down.

However, details like if departures from the other airports into the city have been stopped or cancelled were not immediately available.

On Friday, heavy rains in the city had disrupted flights by up to 45 minutes and resulted in four diversions.
