A businessman allegedly pushed a man from the terrace of a five-star hotel in Uttar Pradesh’s Bareilly, in the early hours of Sunday, after there was an argument between the accused’s son and the victim. The victim, identified as Sarthak Agrawal, works as a businessman in the health sector and was reportedly admitted to a medical college in critical condition.
The disturbing visuals of the incident was captured on the hotel’s CCTV camera and the accused, a textile businessman, was seen beating up the victim before pushing him off the terrace.

The victim had gone to attend a party at the hotel with his friends, which included the accused’s son, Ridim Arora.
As per an NDTV report, an argument broke out between Sarthak and Ridim which later escalated into a physical fight, following which Ridim called his father to intervene.
The CCTV footage shows the accused, Sanjeev Arora grabbing Agrawal by his collar, slapping him and then pushing him off the hotel terrace. Even after pushing Sarthak from there, he doesn’t stop and starts beating another man who was standing next to him.
An FIR was lodged against Arora which stated that he was drunk and attacked the victim without any provocation. A case of assault leading to grievous injury has also been registered in connection to the case.
