BANGALORE: The division bench of the Karnataka High Court today ordered notices to about 250 persons, including six ministers, who had been allotted sites by the Bangalore Development Authority under the 'G' category. The notice was based on a petition filed by S Vasudeva, a city advocate, who challenged the BDA decision to allot sites from February 2006 to October 2007 under the 'G' category to about 250 persons. The petitioner termed the allotment as illegal as he claimed rules and procedures of BDA had been flouted in the process. Those against whom notices have been issued include ministers V S Acharya, M P Renukacharya, Murugesh Nirani, R Ashok, Lakshman Savadi and V H Kageri. The petitioner had claimed that the 250 persons had been alloted sites without submitting any application.
