HYDERABAD: The suspended TDP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Friday sent a 28-page letter to all the MLAs, MPs and MLCs who have been demanding for Samaikya Andhra. In his letter, Nagam explained that injustice has been done to Telangana and asked Andhra leaders to cooperate with him in bifurcating the state. “Let us divide like brothers and compete with each other in terms of development,” he said.He urged legislators and MPs to bolster his fight for Telangana. He criticised Srikrishna Committee’s proposal of constitutional safeguards for Telangana and termed it a ‘failed experiment’.Speaking of Gentlemen’s agreement signed between the Telangana and Andhra leaders for the creation of AP, he said it does not allow outsiders (read: people staying in T for less than 12 years) to purchase lands in Telangana. But, the agreement has been overlooked, he lamented. Nagam also sent TDP Forum’s memorandum to Srikrishna Committee demanding a separate state. He alleged that TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu did not give freedom to Telangana leaders. “I do not have any differences with Naidu except for the T ideology,” he said. Nagam condemned the attitude of TDP leaders who roughed up Osmania University students at Mahanadu’s entrance on Friday.
