Islamabad: Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf renewed his commitment to peace with India in a message to President APJ Abdul Kalam to mark India's Republic Day on Thursday, the foreign office said.
"Pakistan remains firmly committed to the improvement of relations with India," Musharraf said.
"It is my sincere hope that our two countries would be able to resolve all outstanding issues including Jammu and Kashmir peacefully" through a two-year-old peace process, he said.
Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz in a similar message to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said: "We in Pakistan remain committed to the establishment of good neighborly and cooperative relations with India."
