Bhopal: In a first of its kind verdict in Bhopal, a local court has sentenced a youth to three years in prison for posting obscene photographs of a woman on Facebook. The convict has also been directed to pay a penalty of Rs 22,000 for the cyber crime.
The woman had approached the state cyber cell in January 2013 alleging that the man created a Facebook profile with her name, address and morphed pictures to defame her.
The IP address of the user was traced to the complainant's neighbour who was then arrested.
