Leader of Opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly, Ajay Singh today criticised state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for re-inducting Vijay Shah into his Cabinet.
Shah had resigned from the Cabinet as Tribal Welfare Minister following a controversy over his alleged sexist remark against Chouhan's wife a few months back. However, following a probe the party had found him "innocent". "Ever since he was lobbying hard for his re-induction into the Cabinet," sources said.
Ajay Singh, in a statement issued here, said Chouhan should explain if he was right when he dropped Shah from the Cabinet four months back or he was right by taking him back again. Chouhan yesterday expanded his Cabinet by inducting four new ministers, including two of cabinet rank.
