THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Pattika Jathi/ Varga Aikyavedi has urged the CPM to repeal its resolution which had recommended implementation of the Ranganatha Misra Commission report.State general secretary of the organisation Puravur Raghunathan told reporters here that the resolution made by the CPM to implement the report was a move to sabotage the reservation quota of the SC/STs.The leaders of the Aikyavedi also demanded that one of the three Rajya Sabha seats should be allotted to an SC/ST member. They also announced that a three-day awareness camp would be held in Neyyardam from April 16 to 18 for the SC/ST members.The camp is being organised to create basic awareness among the members on various benefits bestowed under the Constitution. Former minister A K Balan, former MLA Anathalavattom Anandan, V K Mohan Kumar, former C-dit director Dr P Sivanandan, DySP Rajendran and Dr S Sharafudeen would lead the sessions.
