The wave which was criticised by all the opposition members has proved its presence now. The result is making the wave evident and is being felt by all the politicians.

It seems that the personality based politics opted by BJP has helped the BJP to scale clear majority in the state of Uttarakhand.

Around 62 per cent of the voters in Uttarakhand had casted their votes for five Lok Sabha seats in the state. The Aam Aadmi Party was keenly watching the elections results in the state as they expected a good result in Uttarakhand apart from in Punjab and Delhi.

The Bharatiya Janata Party is now leading in all the five constituencies in Uttarakhand. Congress could not grab any of the seats in Uttarakhand, even at the place where they fielded its important candidate Renuka Rawat, wife of Chief Minister Harish Rawat, against former chief minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. Nishank is leading by 54363 votes in Haridwar.

The coin in Uttarakhand has been flipped as the Congress which had won all the five seats has suffered a huge blow at the hands of BJP.

The 71 lakh voters were to exercise their franchise to elect legislators out of 74 candidates, including three former BJP Chief Ministers Bhuvan Chandra Khanduri, Bhagat Singh Koshiyari and Ramesh Pokhariyal Nishank.
