Missing couple: Body of Maniraj found

ALAPPUZHA: The body of Maniraj, 34, who, along with his wife, was reported missing on June 3, was found near the Thottappally bridge within the Ambalappuzha police station limits here on Monday morning.
The body, which was found in his car, was retrieved by the police with the help of the Fire and Rescue Services personnel from the TS canal around 9 am. The body of Maniraj's wife Nisha, 30, was found in the Kayamkulam backwaters on Sunday. Police said the car in which the couple was travelling fell into the canal on Thursday. Overspeed of the vehicle is cited to be the reason for the accident.
