Miss you! Ranbir, Katrina, it's high time you join Twitter
Agreed, they are busy with their projects, but taking time out for their fans shouldn't be a task.

New Delhi: When celebrities use Twitter, it is fundamentally to build a rapport with their fans and use it as a tool to garner free publicity. While Anil Kapoor and Vinod Khanna are the latest celebrities to use resort to 140 characters or less to put forth their thoughts, many Bollywood stars continue to stay away from the microblogging site. We believe it is high time these stars swallow their pride and give Twitterverse a shot!

So Ranbir, Kareena and Katrina, while you all stay busy with your projects, taking time out for your fans shouldn't be task. No more excuses, please!

Ranbir Kapoor: Even though the actor maintains he is too shy to express himself on a public platform, his ardent fans would love to get an insight into his thought process and of course, his love life. Since it is Ranbir, his followers might appreciate his inane tweets (which we think, he wouldn't ever post), candid photos much like his words of wisdom.

Kareena Kapoor: In one of her recent interviews, Kareena Kapoor declared her interest in joining Twitter provided people treat her well. The actress, who took to Twitter to promote 'Satyagraha' through UTV's official handle, will help her fans discover the woman behind the icy front if she creates her account.

Aishwarya Rai: Even though she has been in the industry for decades, the star never felt the need to post updates on events she is attending and the projects which have kept her busy. But wouldn't her fans like to know more about Aishwarya's humanitarian work? Her stand on issues of national significance would be as important as the clarity on Bollywood projects.

Vidya Balan: We have a feeling that Vidya Balan will play a key role in women empowerment. Whether it is about not giving in to pressure to look stunning, or maintaining a strict no to short numbers, and accepting herself (curvaceous) the way she is, Vidya has made her fans realize the importance of being confident of their ideas and real selves. What about spreading the gyan through Twitter too?

Katrina Kaif: She is surprisingly candid in her interviews and believes in speaking her mind. Katrina, who wrote an open letter to media for barging into her personal life by taking her photographs with Ranbir Kapoor in Spain, can use Twitter to attack pesky photographers. So, all those who have been irking her with questions about her love life might have to face her wrath if she joins the microblogging site.

Arjun Kapoor: So what if he stays away from Twitter all because he doesn't want to write anything for which he is abused and cursed? We think, he needs to hop on the twitter bandwagon. The reason? Well, his female fans would want to know who he is busy seeing!

Recommended first tweet: Feels great to share the screen space with #Sridevi
