Understanding of god
I believe that god does not exist in the form and nature that we have been taught. Like Osho said, god is not a creator. He is creativity. To me, he is an all pervading force, an energy source that influences our lives and responds to our prayers.
Spiritual practices and religious beliefs
I do not subscribe to religious beliefs and rituals. These are limiting factors that prevent us from getting closer to god. Being spiritual is a better option than being religious since spirituality transcends all religions, caste, creed and rituals.
Take on meditation
As a creative guy with wandering thoughts, I had great difficulty in meditating, initially. I then figured out a way to channelise my clamouring thoughts to help me concentrate. I started with thanking the lord for whatever he had given me. I then recollected all the good things that I experienced in life, big and small. Soon, I realised that there were many happy moments in life that were submerged by the countless things that I was preoccupied with. The more I discovered, the more I became thankful to god. So, my idea of meditation is to remain in a state of thankfulness. It is a blissful experience.
Faith in miracles
Our lives are full of miracles, if only we care to pause and see that they are happening. My miracles happen through little messages that god sends me through people. People are my miracle makers. Otherwise, I can’t explain how people suddenly pop up in my life, influence me, offer me solutions, guide me to the right path and disappear.
Favourite pilgrimage spots
Mantralaya and Tiruvannamalai. They are serene locations untouched by commercial intent. They are abodes to sacred souls who brought out the greatness of god through their human form.
