New Delhi: Micromax has launched its new smartphone - Micromax MAd A94 - in India. Priced at Rs 8,490, the phone sports a 4.5-inch touchscreen, a 5 megapixel rear and a 5 megapixel front camera.
The smartphone is equipped with a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and a 1800 mAh battery. The phone runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 OS, and it supports Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi.
With the launch of this new smartphone, Micromax has introduced a new app, Micromax MAd. The app is said to be designed for those who love ads, which will come pre-loaded on its latest smartphone Micromax MAd A94.
With a 4-step process, MAd allows users to watch advertisements and earn points from every advertisement one views, which then can be converted into rupees.
The money eventually will be credited to their postpaid/pre-paid accounts. With the one-time registration, the service will work for all opted-in subscribers across all telecom operators.
