Medchal SI suspended

HYDERABAD: Cyberabad commissioner Ch Dwaraka Tirumala Rao on Wednesday suspended Medchal SI Surender for dereliction of duty in connection with a land dispute. Sources said, the SI acted in favour of former TTD chairman Adikesavulu Naidu’s son, Srinivas Naidu, in a land encroachment case at IDA Medchal and allowed Naidu’s henchmen to demolish a structure located in the disputed land.
