NEYYATINKARA: Finance Minister K M Mani has sought re-investigation in all murder cases involving CPM men in the state. He said many of those who are really guilty in various murder cases masterminded by the CPM have gone scot-free, thanks to the slapping of weak charges during the tenure of LDF Governments, and only a re-investigation will put the record straight. Speaking at public meetings at Kulathoor and Karode as part of the election campaign of UDF candidate R Selvaraj, the Minister urged all good-hearted people left in the CPM to bid adieu to the party at the earliest. The stance of the CPM leaders that the party had no qualms in assaulting or even killing political opponents in accordance with a list was a shame. Insisting that murder charges should be farmed against M M Mani, the Minister said that irrespective of the stature of those found guilty in the murder of T P Chandrasekharan, all should be brought to justice.
