Man held for overseas job fraud

KOCHI: Thrikkakara Police on Sunday arrested a person in connection with visa fraud case. The arrested Ranjtih Kumar,34, Kappad, Kannur, had cheated many persons while promising jobs and higher studies across the country and abroad.The accused was operating the Hi-tech Educational and Career Consultancy at Vazhakkala.The police said he had collected around Rs 25 lakhs from several people and was absconding. As many as 10 complaints were submitted before the police and three cases have been registered for cheating
