Lucknow: The Government Railway Police (GRP) is verifying the contents of an anonymous letter sent to Station Superintendent of Lucknow railway station alleging that three people involved in the Mumbai bomb blasts had travelled to Gujrat on August 20 by the Sabarmati Express.

The letter, sent from an unknown place, has given berth numbers of the train in which the terrorists travelled from Lucknow to Ahmedabad.

The letter was delivered on Wednesday.

The GRP, on the basis of reservation chart, found that Nafees (25), Babli (24) and Nimisha (22) travelled on the berths mentioned in the letter.

Siginificantly, the address of Old Councillors' Residence (OCR) given in the reservation slip was found to be fake.

''It is now difficult to trace them as their address was wrong and whereabouts of the three travellers were also not known,'' GRP sources told UNI.

Still, the police was taking all precautions, especially after revelations that the two terrorists arrested in Delhi recently were understood to have collected consignment of RDX from Lucknow.

Incidentally, a Delhi Police team had recovered their belongings from the locker of the station's cloak room.
