CHENNAI: As many as 11 IPS officers and several IAS officiers were transfered on Tuesday. A release said S Nizamuddin, DCP, Coimbatore, will be SP, Nilgiris. He replaces S Kaliraj Mahesh Kumar. S Bhaskaran, DCP, L&O, Salem, is posted as DCP, St Thomas Mount. Nagapattinam SP Santhosh Kumar will be DCP, Madhavaram, replacing A Kayalvizhi, who will be SP, TNUSB. S Rajendran, SP, TNUSB, is posted as DCP, Ambattur, replacing M John Chelliah, who is posted as Assistant IGP, L&O, Chennai. V Sithannan, SP, Coastal Guard Security, is posted as SP, TN Police Academy, replacing S Durairaj. M Ramasubramani, DIGP, Tirunelveli, is posted as DIGP, Armed Police, Tiruchy. The Tirunelveli CoP would hold additional charge as DIGP. SN Seshasai, DIGP, will be DIGP, Vellore. Similarly, R Anandkumar, Ex-Erode Collector was named Deputy Commissioner (works) of Chennai Corporation. Harish Chhabra, Additional Collector, RDO, Kanchipuram is now Deputy Commissioner (Revenue, Finance), Chennai and N Mathivanan will take over as the Joint Secretary, Agriculture.
