KTR dares Chandrababu Naidu

HYDERABAD: The war of words between TDP and TRS intensified on Monday with the latter challenging party chief Chandrababu Naidu to order a probe into his assets.Addressing a press conference at Telangana Bhavan here today, the young TRS leader reacted sharply to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu comments on TRS and its president K Chandrashekhar Rao.He came down heavily on Naidu for his comments at Mahanadu that TRS and its president K Chandrasekhar Rao were indulging in blackmail politics and corruption. “We are ready for any probe into our assets. Is he ready?” he asked. Rama Rao was responding to the allegations made during the TDP’s annual conclave that TRS was indulging in blackmail and corruption in the name of Telangana.The TRS and the TDP have been trading allegations over Telangana issue for long. TRS alleges that the TDP went back on its promise to support Telangana cause after the Centre made the announcement on 2009 that a separate Telangana state will be formed.The TRS leader said that from the beginning Naidu is known as a betrayer. “Now he wants to promote his son and dump Nandamuri family. This was the reason why Harikrishna had left the Mahanadu venue in a huff,’’ Rama Rao said.He said TDP has no place in Telangana even if its leaders raise Jai Telangana slogans. Though Naidu says he was not against Telangana, no one trusts him because of his past deeds, he said.The TRS leader even challenged the TDP leadership to move a no-confidence motion against chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy government. If it does, the TRS  would support it since it believes the government has lost the confidence of the people.
