The Kannada film 'Kranti Veera Sangoli Rayanna' will complete 100 days at the box office on Febraury 5. The film revolves around the real life story of freedom fighter Sangoli Rayanna who fought against the British in Karnataka.
The role is played by superstar Darshan, who has confirmed that an event will be organised in Bangalore on February 22, to celebrate the success of the film.
The actor is overwhelmed by the collection that the movie has received at the box office of 40 Crores and the collection in just 75 days of the screenings."I have asked for the correct figures to be explained before the media" Darshan answered.
A theatre in a remote village of Kitthur also collected over five lakhs, which is a tremendous record in Karnataka. At this theatre in Kitthur two boxes were kept in the name of Queen Kittur Chennamma and warrior Sangolli Rayanna to attract donation.
Darshan has almost finished his home banner film 'Bul Bul'. One song and one action sequence is left for completion. 'Viraat' will also complete the shooting of this film within a month. The official launch of the film 'Brindavana' will take place on February 16,2013.
Meanwhile, Darshan's brother Dinkar is preparing a script with Mallikarjun and Chintan for a home banner.
