190. Kota South is a state Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the state of Rajasthan and is part of Kota Lok Sabha/Parliamentary constituency. Kota South falls in Kota district and Hadoti region of Rajasthan. It is categorised as a urban seat.

There are a total of 2,34,203 voters in the seat, which includes 1,20,509 male voters, and 1,13,694 female voters. In the 2018 Rajasthan elections, Kota South recorded a voter turnout of 70.62%. In 2013 the turnout was 74.21%, and in 2008 it was 60.9%.

In 2013, Om Birla of BJP won the seat by a margin of 49,439 votes (30.13%). Om Birla secured 63% of the total votes polled.

BJP won this seat in the 2008 Assembly elections with a margin of 24,252 votes (17.73%), registering 54.39% of the total votes polled.
