BANGALORE: The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has directed 61 students who have secured two seats, one from NITK Suratkal and the other through CET, to surrender their one seat immediately.Nearly 85 candidates had opted for seats from CET as well as NITK. Out of which, only 24 students have surrendered their CET seats, said executive director, KEA Rashmi V. "The list of all the candidate who have not surrendered their seats has been published. Choosing two seats will block the opportunities of other eligible candidates. We are receiving complaints from students, parents and lecturers over existence of a seat blocking racket. So we decided to publish the list of all the candidates who are holding both the seats," she said. The maximum number of students who have not surrendered seats belong to SC/ST and OBC categories.
