New Delhi: Director Sohail Khan's latest film 'Jai Ho' was written off by many when it failed to touch magical figures in its initial days, but it seems the film is all set to become one of the bigger hits of recent times. As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the film has garnered around Rs 111 crore till the end of its second week at the box-office. Adarsh tweets, "#JaiHo Wknd 2 - 13.90 cr, Mon 2.25 cr, Tue 2.40 cr, Wed 1.80 cr, Thu 1.65 cr. Grand total: ₹ 110.78 cr nett. India biz only."
The film starring Salman Khan and Daisy Shah in the lead roles opened at a good note, but failed to get a positive word of mouth publicity. Its business failed to escalate as per the expectations, and thus its surprising that 'Jai Ho' still garnered this much money at the ticket window.
Salman Khan left no stone unturned in promoting his film, and that has paid back. His fans have made it sure that it remains the talk of the town for at least two weeks.
