Jagdish Tytler Demands 'Corrections' in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Indu Sarkar'
Congress leader Jagdish Tyler has written to filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, demanding to see the “research” behind his upcoming film Indu Sarkar based on the Emergency. Tytler is reportedly concerned about the portrayal of a character which he said resembles him.

The report quoted Bhandarkar’s spokesperson as saying that the filmmaker had received the letter from Tytler and discussed it with his team.

The Congress has alleged "false depiction" in the film, calling it "fully sponsored". "This film is fully sponsored. The organisation and the individual who is behind the film is known to us. We totally condemn the false depictions in the film," Congress spokesperson Jyotiraditya Scindia had said.

The film will release on July 28.
