New Delhi: Following in Samsung's footsteps, HTC is also working on a compact version of its flagship smartphone, the HTC One. According to a DigiTimes report, HTC is reportedly working on a new range of smartphones including the dual-SIM Desire 600, HTC Butterfly S, HTC One mini (codenamed M4), and the Desire 200 for the entry-level segment.
The company may launch these new smartphones starting June. The report further claims that the HTC One mini will come equipped with a dual-core processor and a 4.3-inch 720p display. It will run Android 4.2.
The report says, "the HTC One mini is likely to enter volume production in July."
The report says that besides the HTC One mini, the company is also working on a large-size phone, codenamed T6. It is expected to come with a 5.9-inch full HD display, and a quad-core 2.3GHz CPU. Both HTC One mini and T6 will have metal chassis.
Samsung also recently announced the pint-sized version of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4
