New Delhi: HP announced a new version of its Mini series of netbooks for school students. The HP Mini 100e will be available worldwide in July and is priced at around $ 300.
The netbook comes with productivity, education and security software from Microsoft, such as Microsoft Office 2010, Microsoft Math and Microsoft Security Essentials.
The Mini 100e has a 10.1-inch LED-backlit WSVGA display and a 92 percent full size spill-resistant QWERTY keyboard and is powered by a Intel Atom N455 (1.66 GHz) processor.
Weighing 1.45 kg, the netbook comes with a 3-cell or 6-cell Lithium-ion battery and 160 GB of internal storage.
