HYDERABAD: A 36-year-old man was found dead under suspicious circumstances at a lodge in Kacheguda on Sunday. Police are suspecting the person committed suicide but the reason is yet to be ascertained. B Koteswara Rao, inspector, Kacheguda said they received a complaint from the management of Nandu Lodge, where a P Santosh reportedly committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan. “Around 12.30 a.m on Sunday, some persons of the Nandu Lodge came to lodge a complaint about finding a customer dead in their lodge. The preliminary probe has been revealed that Santosh allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to the ceiling fan,” he added. Santosh, a native of LB Nagar, had opened a hospital with assistance from his friends. His friends also gave him some money for the hospital located at Hayathnagar. However, after a few moths, the victim failed to get profits from the business and his friends stopped financing for functioning of the hospital. “Santosh could have been driven to take the extreme step due to the financial losses suffered in running the hospital,” police said. Police shifted the decased’s body to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy and later handed it over to his family for the last rites. Kacheguda police have registered a case under suspicious death and investigation is on.
