HYDERABAD: The First Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Nampally on Monday extended till December 3 the judicial remand of former Karnataka minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brotherinlaw BV Srinivas Reddy, the key accused in the illegal mining case against the Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC).
The Chanchalguda Central Prison officials produced the accused before the judge through video linkage on Monday as their remand period ended. Soon after the judge extended their remand. It was the fourth time the prison officials produced the accused through video linkage.Meanwhile, the court posted to Dec 7 the hearing on the petition filed by the Income Tax Department, Bangalore seeking transfer of the money seized by the investigation agency during the arrest of the accused.

The petition was filed seeking transfer of the amount seized from the residences of Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brotherinlaw BV Srinivas Reddy during their arrest by the investigation agency.
