Free diabetic camp held

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: SK Hospital, in association with North Rotary Club, held a free diabetic camp in connection with World Diabetes Day and Children’s Day at the hospital on Monday. K Muraleedharan MLA inaugurated the programme and hospital managing director K N Sivankutty presided over the function. Councillor Geethakumary, North Rotary Club president Dr G M Pillai, Paediatrics HOD Dr Suguna Bai and Diabetics HOD Dr Ramachandran spoke at the function.  Five lucky dip winners were presented glucometer worth Rs 2,500. Dr Suguna Bai delivered a talk on children’s health. Awareness classes on healthy diet and exercises were also held.
