The State government on Monday transferred Collectors of four districts - Kancheepuram, Vellore, Namakkal and Ariyalur.
L Sitherasenan, Additional Director of Agriculture, will be the new Collector of Kancheepuram district. He replaces Hanish Chhabra, who will be taking over as the Addl Director of Agriculture.
P Shankar, Director of Information and Public Relations Department and ex-officio Deputy Secretary to Tamil Development, Religious Endowments and Information Department will assume charge as the new Collector of Vellore district. He replaces Ajay Yadav who has been appointed as the Joint Commissioner of Municipal Administration Department.
D Jagannathan, hitherto has been Joint Commissioner, Municipal Admn, will be taking over as the Collector of Namakkal district. He replaces J Kumaragurubaran, who has been posted as the Director of Information and Public Relations.
P Senthilkumar, has been Deputy Secretary to Public Department (Protocol), will assume charge as the new Collector of Ariyalur district. He replaces Anu George, who will be taking over as the Joint Secretary, Public Department (Protocol).
Meanwhile, the State government placed at the disposal of the Government of India the services of Dayanand Kataria, Commissioner for Disciplinary Proceedings, Tiruchy, for appointment as Principal Commissioner in the Delhi Development Authority (Joint Secretary level) in the Ministry of Urban Development.
