Five held for raping school students

ALUVA: The Aluva police led by CI S Jayakrishnan have arrested five youths who allegedly raped four high school girls here. The police action was based on the instruction of the Ernakulam Rural District Police Chief Harshita Attaluri.The accused are Mukesh, 22, Amal, 18, Unni, 19, Sunil, 20, of Asokapuram near here and Rajesh, 18, of Manjaly Chalakka. The accused pretended love and cheated the girls. The students reportedly revealed their experience to the teacher during counseling. The teacher brought out the issue to SP Harshita Attaluri.The police launched a detailed probe into the matter.
