HYDERABAD: Minister of law and courts Erasu Pratap Reddy has once again denied his involvement in facilitating bribe to suspended CBI court first additional special judge T Pattabhi Rama Rao to grant bail to mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy.The minister went to the chief minister’s camp office at Begumpet on Saturday to meet Kiran Kumar Reddy to explain his position and seek a probe into the allegations levelled against him but the chief minister had already left for Bangalore by the time he reached the camp office.Speaking to reporters, the minister made it clear that he was innocent and had nothing to do with the bribing of the judge. “I am ready to quit politics if the allegations are proved, ‘‘ the minister declared.Though his family had been in politics and enjoyed several positions in the government in the past 50 years, they never resorted to corrupt practices, he claimed and blamed some TV channels for the mud-slinging on him and threatened to complain to the Press Council of India.
