An earthquake of magnitude 4.6 was reported near Ukhrul in Manipur on Friday evening, several reports said.
The earthquake struct at 10:01 pm at a depth of 120 kilometres near Ukhrul in Manipur, National Center for Seismology said in a tweet.
Manipur lies on the “very high risk” zone as per the seismic zone map of India. Last month, an earthquake of magnitude 3.1 had struck Churachandpur in Manipur on November 5.
