A 23-year old medical representative drowned in a pond at the famous Coutralam waterfalls near Tenkasi. Jawahar, allegedly in an inebriated state, was swept away by the force of the water and drowned in the 'thadagam', a pit created by the falls, early on Friday morning, the police said.
