New Delhi: There seems to be no end to Delhi's fight against dengue as the viral fever claimed three more lives in the past 24 hours, taking the toll to 32, while 92 fresh cases were reported.

Two senior citizens and a youth, who were being treated for dengue, died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in the past 24 hours ending 0800 hours, officials said.

With 92 people admitted to hospitals across the capital in the last 24 hours, the total number of people afflicted with dengue has risen to 1,465, Municipal Health Officer N K Yadav said.

Kunwar Singh (70) from Delhi's Rajapuri, Muzafar Iqbal (60) from Uttar Pradesh's Mujaffarnagar and Manoj Singh (30) Haryana's Gurgaon died at the AIIMS in the last 24 hours.

Of the total 92 new patients afflicted with the disease, 61 are admitted in the AIIMS, Medical Superintendent D K Sharma said adding 32 patients were discharged on Sunday.

Another 170 people are under observation at AIIMS for suspected dengue.
