Owing to the various functions being organised at Delhi’s Bharat Mandapam, traffic police have issued an advisory for commuters from 4:00 pm to 10 pm on April 1. The traffic police expect a large gathering of people which has the potential to affect the surroundings of the Mandapam.
Here is the list of traffic restrictions and diversions shared by the traffic regulator:

To ensure smooth traffic management in the vicinity of the Pragati Maidan following measures will be taken:
- No vehicle will be allowed to halt or park anywhere on Mathura Road, Bhairon Marg and, Subramania Bharti Marg.
- General entry for the public is not allowed.
- Vehicles parked on the above roads shall be towed away and prosecuted for improper parking and disobeying lawful instructions.

The Delhi Police has furthered requested the commuters to cooperate by avoiding and bypassing the above mentioned roads. “If possible please make maximum use of public transport,” read a statement from the advisory, adding that people travelling to ISBT, railway station, and airports are advised to carefully plan their travel with sufficient time at hand.
