New Delhi: A Delhi Police SHO has been suspended for allegedly misbehaving with a sexual assault survivor. The SHO of West Delhi's Uttam Nagar police station has been suspended pending inquiry into the case.
This came after the sexual assault survivor complained that the SHO physically manhandled her. The complainant said that the SHO asked her to strip and explain how she was raped.
The police have challenged the version, but have initiated a vigilance probe.
