The two students are among those accused of sedition in connection with an event held on February 9 event where slogans were raised in favour of Parliament attack convict Afzal Guru.
The HC had on May 13 granted the same relief to JNU Students Union (JNUSU) President Kanhaiya Kumar and others against whom disciplinary action was taken by the varsity after February 9 event row.
The court while passing the order said that Umar and Anirban are entitled to same order as passed by the court on May 13, 2016 for Kanhaiya and others.
