New Delhi: Exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama on Friday underwent a gall bladder surgery at Sir Gangaram Hospital here.
The 73-year-old Nobel laureate was admitted to the hospital on Thursday after he complained of severe abdominal pain.
The temporal head of Tibetans underwent a laparoscopic surgery to remove stones in the gallbladder, Cenzin Chalka, spokesperson of the Tibetan Government in exile told PTI, adding that he is likely to be discharged in a day or two.
